Paper Pack Transfer Equipment
Our equipment is designed to arrange paper packs arriving on a conveyor belt side by side, standing on their narrower edge. This ensures not only more economical packaging dimensions but also more efficient material handling processes.
Challenges
During development, we faced several complex challenges:
- Size variations: the dimensions of the packs varied significantly, requiring flexible solutions.
- Material properties: the nature of paper demanded consideration of both its elasticity and plasticity.
- Time constraint: the greatest challenge was that the system had to reliably and accurately process each pack within just 1.9 seconds.
The solution
The tight cycle time was achieved by a servo drive system combined and synchronized with a pneumatic unit, precisely adjusted thanks to our advanced technical expertise. Prototyping and testing under real operating conditions during the design phase enabled us to refine the concept quickly, resulting in a stable, high-speed, and reliable system.
